Luxury New Construction Condo
Downsizing doesn’t have to mean dialing things back. This elegant condo interior was designed for a couple who walked into our first meeting with a simple request: “We want everything new.” Music to a designer’s ears—and the perfect starting point for a fully refreshed, thoughtfully layered home.
The goal was to create a modern, elegant, and timeless home—one that could host 30 for Christmas without hesitation and still welcome the family dog, Ruffles, on every piece of furniture.
A soft palette of light neutrals, layered blues, and warm greys flows throughout the residence, creating a sense of cohesion from room to room. Custom furnishings, tailored window treatments, and carefully selected textures elevate the interiors without feeling formal or fussy.
From the moment you enter, the home makes a statement. Rich, earthy taupe grass cloth wallpaper wraps the entry and hallways, creating a cozy, textural “hug” that immediately sets the mood and draws you into the space. This warmth balances beautifully with the lighter finishes used throughout the main living areas.
The open living room was designed for both everyday relaxation and entertaining, anchored by a custom area rug that adds softness and defines the seating group. Custom upholstery in comfortable performance fabrics keeps the space family friendly, while brass accents and layered lighting introduce quiet elegance. This client desired a white kitchen with quartz counters for easy maintenance, which brightens up the open-plan living area.
In the primary bedroom, we created a feature wall using a soft floral wallpaper with a subtle metallic sheen—just enough to catch the light and add interest without overwhelming the space. White silk drapes with a tape accent add a finish detail to this elegant room. The result is a serene, tailored retreat that feels calm, refined, and personal.
A favorite space in the home is the gentleman’s den, designed as a cozy escape complete with a fireplace and custom bar. Richer textures and deeper tones give this room its own identity while still tying back to the home’s overall light and elegant aesthetic.
