Judd Builders hired us to furnish the clubhouse for their active adult community, Meadow View, near Reading, Pennsylvania. Bright, crisp colors are best in active adult communities, so royal blue and sage green with yellow accents created a lively mood for this destination space.
Meetings, small group entertaining, and tv watching were the main functional goals for the open plan main room.
A separate library was created with a wall of built-ins for a free lending library with a game table.
An ADA-accessible kitchen was important for these residents who are aging in place but love to entertain.
